Here's what choosing The GP Website Company actually looks like.
Your site. Same service. Same price.
Read this page. Click "Move My Site". We’ll handle everything else.
When it became clear that My Surgery Website was coming to an end, we chose to carry it forward. The GP Website Company exists because we cared too much about what your site means to your practice and the patients it serves to just walk away.
Your website is rebuilt on our platform and looks exactly as it does today. Same pages, same content, same links, same forms. Your patients see no difference: not on day one, not ever. No downtime, no relaunch, no apology for the disruption.
That's because we're not a new supplier learning your setup from scratch. We built your original website, and we've built The GP Website Company from the ground up to work in exactly the same way.
When you choose The GP Website Company, you're not switching supplier. You're staying with the people who already know you.
What you get.
Everything your practice needs.
Nothing extra for you to manage.
Your existing MSW website, exactly as it looks now.
No redesign, no content brief, no back and forth. We built the My Surgery Website platform, and your current website. We know how your site is structured and what you and your patients rely on. Your site is rebuilt on our platform looking the same. Nothing changes for your patients, you or your team.
Your price, unchanged.
Whatever you paid with My Surgery Website is what you pay with us. We won’t try to renegotiate. We won’t charge you any setup fees and there will be no surprises on your invoice.
Sign up before 31 August and we’ll give you 3 months free.
Updates and support, same day.
Need to make a change to your website? Support is just an email away. Most changes are done the same day. Support is provided by real, experienced people, not a chatbot.
Accessibility and compliance, certified and maintained.
WCAG 2.2 AA accessible as standard, built to NHS usability guidance, with compliance in mind throughout. We constantly review all the appropriate standards on your behalf, and apply updates automatically. You don't need to manage it at all. Just one less thing to worry about.
Hosting, security and backups, all included as standard.

Yes.
If you move to any other supplier, there will be design and functionality changes.
We're not a new supplier importing your content and hoping it works. We built your current MSW website and understand it completely.
Our new platform, built from the ground up, is designed to work in the same way, with a few improvements. As we know your original website inside out, the one we build on our new platform will look the same. The result for you is seamless.
Your patients see no change. Your staff use it in the same way they always have. Your site looks the same as it always has.

Here's what makes The GP Website Company different.
We are not a new business. We carry the knowledge and experience of My Surgery Website forward under a new name, with the same commitment.
Matthew Wright, owner and Founder, managed My Surgery Website for the last 11 years.
We started this business because we couldn't walk away from the practices that depended on the service.
We are owner-operated. There are no outside investors, no board, no private equity timeline pushing the business towards a future sale or a merger. The people who answer your call care about your website, and your Practice. That means the service you sign up for today is the service you'll still have in years.
The GP Website Company isn’t just a business, it’s a reflection of what we are passionate about. We believe every GP practice deserves a digital presence that is accessible, functional, and that properly represents the Practice. That's why we didn't walk away, and it's why we won't.

You should feel completely free to. But here's what that process looks like in practice.
You'll have calls with suppliers who don't know your history. You'll brief them on what your current site does. You'll wait for proposals, review designs, check accessibility compliance, negotiate new contracts, pay setup fees.
You'll book training time for your team, and at the end of it, you'll have a different site that you and your patients will need to adjust to.
With us, none of that work exists. Your site will look the same as before. You pay what you paid before.
We are owner-operated. There are no outside investors, no board, no private equity timeline pushing the business towards a future sale or a merger. The people who answer your call care about your website, and your Practice. That means the service you sign up for today is the service you'll still have in years.
The question isn't whether you could shop around. It's whether the result is worth the weeks of work it takes to get there, when you already have a website that works, and the people who built it are right here, offering to keep it the same.

The decision to close MSW was made by the owners of that business. GP websites were never their core business, and when they reviewed their long-term focus, MSW didn't make the cut. That's a business decision we respect, as it was the right choice for them.
What we couldn't do was walk away.
We have spent years building and running My Surgery Website. We know your site, your support history, and the NHS landscape you work in. So we started The GP Website Company, and built a new home for everything MSW was.
Same look and feel. Same service.
The closure wasn’t something we chose. What we chose was to continue the story.

No.
WordPress was fundamentally built as a hobbyist-grade blogger platform. To make it handle complex NHS patient data developers have to stitch together a fragile web of dozens of unrelated, third-party plug-ins.
This patchwork code creates a Swiss-cheese security model. Every single thing added is another potential hole in your digital front door, leaving your website wide open.
Our platform does things differently. It is a closed, secure ecosystem engineered from the ground up natively for GP surgeries. Your data stays entirely isolated, and your digital front door remains completely insulated from the vulnerabilities of the open internet.
